Geek Dinner, October 6th, Max's Place

Our first Geek Dinner of the fall finds us back in our old haunts. Max's Place has a nice variety of sandwiches, pizza and some good beer to enjoy while you discuss technology. Geek Dinner, August 13th, Sproutbox

After a long summer layoff it's time to celebrate! Local tech company Sproutbox celebrated the grand opening of their new location this summer, and they've generously agreed to host a special dinner in their space. (SproutBox is an elite crew of product developers, creatives and business experts, that invests talent in startup companies with high growth potential). Come for pizza and drinks and to admire what a motivated bunch of Bloomington geeks can put together when they try. And as always, we'll be talking tech with all the geeks of Bloomington! (Sproutbox's new digs are at 400 West 7th St. in suite #200.)

Geek Dinner, May 4th, La Charreada

It's time again for a Geek Dinner! We'd like to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but figuring that every single Mexican restaurant in town in already celebrating, we're going to go a little early and celebrate Quatro de Mayo instead, and we'll stray outside of our usual downtown confines and visit the large Mexican restaurant La Charreada on North Walnut. We'll plan a slightly later dinner for this evening, around 6:30. Come for food, drink, and talking tech with the geeks of Bloomington - stay for a Margarita or two in the lounge!

Geek Dinner, March 3rd, Dunn Inn

Hurray! It's time for another dinner. This time we're trying out a new place in town, the Dunn Inn, with a small dining area and bar on Dunn Street between 3rd Street and 4th. I hope we don't overwhelm them too badly - we always tell our hosts to expect 25 to 30, but I'm sure we were close to 40 this last time - a terrific turnout! So maybe we'll see that many again. We've scheduled the event for 6:00 this time, but as always, expect to come and stay for a couple of hours, and many will be there later. Food, drink and talking tech with the geeks of Bloomington!

Geek Dinner, January 14th, Max's Place

It got too busy over the holidays to have a dinner, but now that everyone's recovered from December, it's time for another one! Come join us at our favorite venue, Max's Place, next Wednesday the 14th. People will start to arrive at 5:30, but budget a couple of hours to talk tech with the geeks of Bloomington...and then if you like, stick around Max's for some music as Wednesdays are open mike nights!
